This photo was taken in Tucson Mountain Park. The conditions were incredible, and this rainbow stayed in the sky for almost an hour, allowing me to do a couple of time lapses and make this photo.
Instead of always using wide angle lenses for landscape photos, I like to use zoom lenses for the compression effect. This photo was shot at 200 mm, and brought the distant mountains much closer. The photo was taken at Saguaro National Park in Tucson, Arizona.
I was shooting fall colors in Arizona, and this aspen grove near Flagstaff stood out to me. I got the drone up in the air and did a top down shot, because I wanted kind of an abstract photo of these interesting trees.
I was fortunate to visit Joshua Tree National Park during a dramatic pink sunset. Loved that rock in the foreground too. This was in March 2020.
I had the rare treat to see snow at Joshua Tree National Park, even if it was just a tiny amount. A storm was coming in and made for a dramatic image.
Pinnacles National Park is the youngest National Park in the United States. It is full of mysterious looking oak trees, and I liked how this particular one nicely framed the pinnacles.
The Grand Canyon has got to be my favorite place on earth. Here I was able to capture this very pink sunset at this gorgeous place.
